A funny old day today.

I have spent over a decade advising clients on how to get the most out of their PR campaigns and here I find myself doing it for Press For Attention PR, my own consultancy.

Strange it may be. Self indulgent? It feels like it a little, I must confess.

However, looked at with a cool and detached view it is totally appropriate. One of the strategies that I like to champion for my clients is that of “thought leadership” – a typically cheesy marketing term that essentially means that you should aim to become the expert in your field. Obviously this works best in the service industries and professional sectors.

So, that it was I will do. I hope that you will let me off this once.
