Greg Simpson, entrepreneur, PR professional and founder of Press for Attention PR, is confirmed today as Enterprise Nation’s champion in Nottingham.
Greg joins other regional champions who have been operating since August 2015 from the Midlands, South West, East of England and beyond.
The role of the champions is to host events, deliver support and represent Enterprise Nation in their own region. The champions recently delivered the UK’s largest start-up show of the New Year in the form of StartUp 2016, and are planning other events, competitions and support programmes for 2016 that will help Enterprise Nation members in all corners of the UK.
Greg is an entrepreneur in his own right and keen to see the small businesses of Nottingham supported.
He said: “I wanted to become an Enterprise Nation champion to get involved in the national campaigns and ensure businesses in Nottingham are not missing out on links to advisers, practical events, and business support.”
Greg kicks off activities with a Meet the Journalist event in Nottingham on 14 April with speakers including Sam Metcalf, editor of TheBusinessDesk.com East Midlands, Emma Broomfield from the Sunday Times and Christian Hewgill, video journalist at Notts TV.
